Each of us at our firm takes pride in maintaining a close professional relationship with our clients.  Our education and experiences help us to understand their operations, evaluate business and tax implications, and work with them to meet their needs and goals.  Each individual’s experience complements the others’ to insure that our clients have prompt, professional, knowledgeable support that our clients deserve.

Graduating, with distinction, from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN in 1971 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, Harold became a Certified Public Accountant in 1974. He also attended Sangamon State University working on his master’s degree in Health Administration.


Before starting the firm in 1987, Harold had over 25 years of experience working with a large international accounting firm, a regional accounting firm and working as the Chief Financial Officer of several large organizations.

His work with the larger accounting firms was in the area of health care, taxes, and general business consulting with clients ranging in size from single owners to large businesses.  His knowledge and experience in working as the chief financial officer of various organizations gained him knowledge and experience in finance and operations management including knowledge in areas of purchasing, inventory control, records management, collections, money management and personnel management.

Through a local university, he also has taught classes on Starting and Running A Profitable Small Business.


With a strong commitment to our personal community, Harold has worked with several community organizations including Junior Achievement and Boy Scouts. He also has been active in several fraternal and business organizations such as Sertoma International and Chamber of Commerce; and has taught classes in Accounting and Introduction to Business Management at Junior and Upper level colleges.

Harold's professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia CPA Society and the Georgia Association of Public Accountants.  His professional memberships help him to maintain his professional and technical knowledge necessary to meet his clients’ needs.

Harold is also a member of the Atlanta City Sales Club, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping it’s members develop business.

Jane has worked in our office since its inception, in 1987.  She takes care of all of the office’s general matters including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.  She also has a very in-depth knowledge of States of Georgia and Alabama sales taxes; and therefore, is responsible for the preparation of all clients’ periodic sales tax returns.  As well, Jane helps in the preparation of personal income tax returns.

Jane has had several accounting, bookkeeping and income tax courses, which have provided her with extensive knowledge in general accounting and personal income taxes.  She works with several computerized accounting systems including Peachtree and Quickbooks accounting programs.  She is extremely versatile in using Peachtree and resolving questions or problems in the use of this system.  Jane also has a good working knowledge of Quickbooks.

Mike has had over ten years experience in accounting.  Mike is extremely knowledgeable in Quickbooks\Pro as well as Excel & Lotus spreadsheet programs.  Mike also is our ‘computer guru’.  Mike has had several years in working with clients in maintaining their computer systems, and has been proficient in helping clients resolve problems encountered. He also co-ordinates with professional computer and networking firms to establish, administrate and maintain their office computer(s) and networks.
